Yes, we should. There is no way to justify this kind of treatment of others in the modern world. Countries like Saudi Arabia need to feel constant pressure from the more advanced cultures or else they will feel no need to change. And, they need to change. Simply put, societies that treat women as cattle should come to an end.

I went to check out and was told that my insurance does not cover this visit so I’ll have to pay the full amount in full, approximately $300. Needless to say I was very surprised because I had checked in advance and the doctor was covered by my PPO plan. So I went to the billing department to see what’s going on and the woman there told me that my insurance covers exams but not fertility consultations and once you are diagnosed with “infertility” they do not cover anything. I told her I was not aware I was diagnosed with infertility and I was referred to them to have some tests done to find out whether I had infertility.

Hey everyone! I am back from a much needed vacation. Everything was fantastic! We swam…we drank (not the kids….lol!) we ate, we saw some beautiful scenery! We don’t necessarily have to use force to do this: Western culture is pretty good at infiltrating other paradigms and changing them, hence the backlash in the Muslim world. Threatened males, in particular, will do whatever they can maintain a modicum of power over women. And embracing a chauvinistic set of religious and/or cultural traditions is one of those ways. In part, such a reaction is a sign of our success, even if it seems painfully slow at times.

What does not help, however, is members of our civilization questioning its basic worth, particularly vis-a-vis a less advanced culture like that in Saudi Arabia. This kind of self-loathing is simply childish.
